“3 Lions on a shirt,
never stopped us dreaming”
So, England are in the World cup. Lost our first match, but general consensus is we played well.
Despite their “fans”, I would say.
We do tend to put our national team down, don’t we? “No point in following the footie, we’ll be out in the first stages”. “England are useless, they never win anything.”

Is this why you’re not applying for that job you’d really like? Are people – or even you – saying “don’t bother, you won’t get it”? Well you won’t if you don’t try – but at least you’ll have proved yourself right. What does Dale Winton say? “You’ve got to be in it to win it.”
So DON’T let the doubters put you down. But DO make the most of your opportunity, don’t squander it.
Acclimatise yourself, prepare, practice.
And who knows what you can achieve?
Go on, go for gold!0

In recruitment, as in life, things rarely work out as expected. The news reminds us daily that it’s actually wise to expect the unexpected. For example, you’ve got to wonder if there’s a teeny weeny bit of Theresa May’s brain that wishes she had pre-prepared a plan B for how Brexit is unfolding… We[…..]
